Indiana was nicknamed the Summit City because it was the
highest point along the Wabash Erie Canal. We named our
club the
Summit
City
ParrotHead
Club
because we strive for the highest standards when it
comes to ”Partying with a Purpose” The social club
formed in 2000 and holds several Phund raisers and
community events thru out the year.
Our purpose is to bring together
those people in our community who
embrace and
enjoy Jimmy Buffett's music, writings, and lifestyle
and choose to leave this world just a little better than
we found it (and have PHUN doing it!)
Monthly social events are held
throughout the city, and surrounding communities!
Its been a sad week for all of us Parrot Heads.
We lost one of our own. Herb David passed this week. We
will take comfort just knowing and appreciating all of
his efforts to the club. Our thoughts and prayers go out
to the family.
